2026 Larry McClure Memorial Spring Retreat

Reel Men of God’s annual signature event, this 3-day retreat and 2-day tournament honors Larry McClure, the ministry’s founding director.

The event also includes Friday night barbecue supper and a cookout and worship service on Saturday evening. Online payment can be made below.

RMOG has reserved five 2-bedroom cabins and will cover their Friday and Saturday night rental fees.

Two of those cabins have been reserved for Thursday night, too. Thursday night rental fees are not provided by RMOG but are available at the fishermen’s expense.

Pre-fishing ends at 4:00 PM Friday. That evening at 6:00 PM, RMOG will provide supper and review rules. We’ll have a devotional time following our Saturday evening cook-out.

Tennessee Trading RMOG Summer Series

Where else can you competitively fish 22 Thursday nights for a hundred bucks? Bring a buddy and compete as a two-man team in our Summer Points Series sponsored by Tennessee Trading!

These 3-hour Thursday night bass tournaments have a 3-fish limit. Each team’s top 7 event weight totals are added for the team’s Summer Series total. Prizes are awarded to the top 30% of teams and are determined by entry fees and sponsor participation. Each week, teams can opt to get into a $20 per team Total Weight Cash Side Pot plus a $5 per team Big Bass Cash Pot.

Don’t want to compete, but still enjoy the fellowship?  No problem; non-competitors are always welcome to fish for fun and enjoy the fellowship. A brief devotional and prayer follow weigh-in every week! First tournament is April 2nd. Series awards will be presented at the Series final event on September 10.

Registration deadline at each Series tournament is 6:15 pm with blast-off at 6:30 pm. Check-in deadline is 9:30 pm, with all teams in the weigh-in line no later than 9:45 pm, with devotional, prayer, and awards to follow. Online payment can be made below.

Note: This series is for RMOG members; guests may fish two events before paying membership dues; however, they must pay their dues prior to their third event.

RMOG Trail Tournaments

We invite all bass anglers to register and compete in a six-tournament 2026 RMOG Trail Series.

Fees: Trail Registration Fee will increase to $30 per competitor for 2026 and must be paid by the 2nd tournament. Event fees will remain at $50 per boat with an optional $20 Big Bass cash pot. All fees are payable in cash at the ramp during pre-launch registration. Trail Registration Fee and $10 of each Entry Fee will go into the Fish-off prize fund.

Rules: RMOG rules will apply. Reel Men of God membership is not required to compete in the first two 2026 Trail tournaments; however, it is required to fish in the third event and to qualify for the final Fish-off Tournament.

Fish-off Tournament: Participants must fish at least four (4) of the six tournaments to qualify to compete in the Fish-off.

Open Tournaments

RMOG welcomes all bass anglers to register and compete in Open Tournaments in order to experience fellowship with members of Reel Men of God and other fisherman in the area. Reel Men of God membership is not required. Open tournament fees are $50 for each two-person team with an optional $20 big bass cash pot. 100% payout. A brief devotional and prayer follows every event. Online payment can be made below.
