Events — There are six regular tournaments plus a fish-off on this trail:
- March 1, safe light to 1 PM, Mallard Point Park, Sanders Ferry Rd, Hendersonville
- April 5, safe light to 1 PM, Davis Corner
- May 3, safe light to 1 PM, Station Camp
- May 24, safe light to 1 PM, Rockland
- June 14, safe light to 12 PM, Sanders Ferry
- July 12, safe light to 12 PM, Bledsoe Creek
- Trail Fish-off in August, date & location TBD
Fees
- Trail Registration Fee: $25 per competitor (required in order to qualify for the Fish-off).
- Tournament Entry Fee, per boat: $50 plus $10 Big Bass Pot
- Trail Registration Fees plus $10 from each Tournament Entry Fee will go into the Fish-off prize pot.
General
- Reel Men of God Rules apply
- Trail Tournaments are Open events; we invite any man to fish them. RMOG membership and payment of the $25 Trail Registration Fee are not required to compete in any regular Trail tournament; however, they are required before competing in the Fish-off.
- Each boat may have one or two competitors. Each tournament’s standings and prizes are awarded by boat, not by individual competitor.
- To qualify for the Fish-off, one must have (a.) paid his annual Reel Men of God $25 Membership Fee, (b.) paid his $25 Trail Registration Fee, and (c.) competed in at least four of the six regular Trail tournaments.
Awards
- Big Bass pots are paid in full at each tournament.
- $40 of each $50 Tournament Entry Fee goes in the tournament payout pot. ($10 is held back for the Fish-off prize pot.)
- When 10 or fewer boats are in a Tournament, two places pay out. For 10-20 boats, three places pay out. For 20-30 boats, four places pay out, etc.
- All payouts are made at weigh-ins.
Fish-off
- Usual Tournament Entry Fees apply for the Fish-off.
- Accumulated Trail Registration Fees plus $10 of each Tournament Entry Fees from the first six Tournaments plus Fish-off Entry Fees make up the Fish-off prize pot and will be awarded at that event.
